Delete your DimGiu data

If you have an account

1. Export first if you want to keep a copy — in the app, open the Family menu and choose “Export family file”. That file is yours; it re-imports into DimGiu later.
2. Send an email from the address you sign in with:
   To: hello@dimgiu.com Subject: Delete my DimGiu account
3. Within 30 days we delete your account and every family it owns — the map, its photos, its titles, and the sign-in record. We reply when it’s done.

Signed in with Google? Deleting your DimGiu account removes what we hold; you can also remove DimGiu from your Google account’s list of connected apps.

If you only built a family on this device

Nothing was sent to us. Open the Family menu and choose “Start a new family…” or “Reset to demo family”, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings — either removes it from your device.

If someone else put you on their map

Email hello@dimgiu.com and tell us the family or the person who made it, if you know. We pass your request to the family’s owner, and can hide your details ourselves if needed.

Share links

A share link is an encrypted snapshot of a family at the moment it was shared; the key lives only in the link, so we can’t read it. Snapshots can’t currently be recalled — if you shared a link you regret, the family itself can still be deleted as above, and anyone without the link can never open the snapshot.
